Born and raised in New York, Robinson Treacher’s musical honesty and vocal grit reflect an eclectic array of musical influences ranging from raw power of urban New York City to the rural traditions of the Adirondacks. Robinson's latest release, "Born", is a purposefully "stripped down" collection of songs that rarely contain more than an acoustic guitar, an upright bass and of course, those powerfully distinct vocals. His EP “Born” received the honor of 2018’s Independent Music Award for BEST EP (Roots/Americana/Singer songwriter). Since then, Robinson has been featured on Sirius/XM’s "The Loft: Live from The Living Room" series and WFUV “Sunday Breakfast”. He has shared the stage with notable artists as Vince Gill, Iris Dement, The Spin Doctors, GE Smith, Joan Osborne, Cheryl Wheeler, Amy Helm, Tom Rush, Arlo Guthrie and Carrie Rodriguez, and a host of others. Legendary songwriter Don Schlitz ("Forever and Ever Amen", "When You Say Nothing At All", "The Gambler") described Robinson as being, "...impossible to follow in concert."
He has been recently nominated for a Nashville Music City Award for his song "This Bar” and is a proud recipient of the NSAI/CMT country music People's Choice Award. He received an Independent Music Award nomination for his song "Long Day Good Night”and is a staple at music festivals around the country such as NERFA, The Kerrville Folk Festival, Falcon Ridge Folk Fest, Connecticut Music Fest, New Jersey Folk and Music Fest, Cape May Folk and Music Fest, Great South Bay Music Fest, and Key Largo and Key West Singer/Songwriter Festivals.
Robinson is chameleon-like in his approach to his songwriting and believes that each song is forged from its own unique terrain. With a break out year ahead, Robinson continues to capture the hearts and ears of all music fans from Rock, Country, Americana and Folk Rock. He finds energy in his fanbase and prides himself on his personal relationship with his fans.
